How to report a website hosted on Maleo Sites that is fraudulent, infringing on intellectual property, or breaking our rules.

Maleo Sites provides website building and hosting services for legitimate businesses. We take misuse of our platform extremely seriously. If you have identified a website hosted on our infrastructure that violates the law, infringes on your intellectual property rights, or violates our Acceptable Use Policy, please notify us immediately.
1. How to Submit a Report
To submit an abuse or takedown report, please email our designated abuse contact directly:
We review reports continuously and prioritize severe risks such as phishing, malware, online gambling, child exploitation, and financial fraud.
2. Required Information
To help us investigate and act swiftly, please include the following details in your email:
- Exact URL: The full web address (e.g.,
https://example.maleosites.com/pageor custom domain) of the specific page or asset in question. - Nature of violation: A clear explanation of why you believe the content violates our policies or applicable law (e.g., online gambling, unlicensed lending, credential phishing, fake official notice, defamatory content).
- Evidence or screenshots: Any supporting documentation, screenshots, or logs that substantiate your report.
- Your contact information: Your name, email address, and (if applicable) the organisation or authority you represent.
3. Copyright and Trademark Infringement Notices
If you are a copyright or trademark owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that material hosted on our platform infringes your protected intellectual property under Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright or Law No. 20 of 2016 on Trademarks, your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work or registered trademark claimed to have been infringed (including registration numbers if available).
- The exact URL where the allegedly infringing material is located on our platform.
- Proof of your ownership or authorization to act on behalf of the intellectual property owner.
- A statement made in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- Your contact details and an electronic or physical signature.
4. How We Handle Abuse Reports
When an abuse notice is received, we follow a strict review procedure:

5. Law Enforcement and Regulator Requests
Government bodies, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory authorities (such as Komdigi, OJK, or the Indonesian Police) may send official directives, block requests, or inquiries to:

We cooperate fully with valid statutory orders and directives issued by competent authorities in accordance with Government Regulation No. 71 of 2019.
6. Bad-Faith and Fraudulent Reports
Submitting knowingly false, misleading, or bad-faith infringement notices to harass or sabotage competitors constitutes an abuse of the takedown process. We reserve the right to seek damages and remedies for any malicious submissions.
